Mulholland's Marauders vs. Hogan's Heroes

I recall two bitter factions at war in the mean streets of Ft. Dodge....Mulhollands Marauders and Hogan's Heroes.  I remember at one point the ball was in the Hogan court and somehow a discarded commode (I really have no idea where it came from) was placed in Mulholland's front yard.  We rang the door bell and retreated to some bushes across the street.  The memory of Dan's father coming out to the front lawn in the harsh winter glow of the front porch light and slowly shaking his head remains with me to this day.

Control v. Chaos; Uncle v. Thrush; Spy v. Spy.  Classic clashes of our youth. Nothing compared to the diabolical escapades of HHH v. MM. Wild (probably reckless) chases around neighborhoods in my unsouped up 1964 Dodge Dart GT with pushbutton transmission, the Hayes Rambler and the O'Connell Torino.  Eggs and snowballs and late nights at the hand car wash so the paint wouldn't fade. So glad we didn't have video games and real cops to ruin our fun. I vividly recall two things.  Dr. O'Connell could throw an accurate egg, and Dr. Mulholland could not stand up to an ice ball to the side of the head.
